Welcome to the Manheim Township Democratic Committee! All Democrats and those who support Democratic ideas and values are welcome to join us. Democratic candidates won three out of our four contested races including: Governor Josh Shapiro and Lieutenant Governor Austin Davis U.S. In 2022, voters came out to elect Democrats in Manheim Township. We are more determined than ever and anticipate making a comeback in 20.

A disappointing result, but the vote tallies were closer than our opponents like to admit. In 2021, we lost all but one seat on our School Board.

In 2020, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris won Manheim Township by more than 1700 votes. In 2019, we added another Democrat to School Board and two more excellent candidates to our Board of Commissioners. Governor Tom Wolf won Manheim Township with 56.5% of the vote. Jess King, Democratic candidate for Congress, won Manheim Township with 52% of the vote. In 2018, more than 70% of Democratic voters in Manheim Township turned out to vote while the nationwide average for all parties was 49.3%. In 2017, our candidates took all six seats on the Manheim Township School Board and two out of three open seats on the Board of Commissioners.
